Old Business:
• Projector: New GDCCC projector delivered. Livonia was given Pontiac’s projector.
• Adam Jones: Program has been approved for September 11. Flyers need to be prepared and distributed. It was suggested to have Bill Buchanan look into getting it posted at PSA. More questions need to be answered before an admission charge can be determined.
NEW BUSINESS:
• GDCCC Rule Changes: Questions were raised whether more changes/additions
to our current rules need to be made:
- If a maker submitted three separate shots as one image to show a sequence which tells a story, and is inside of our 768 pixel limits, would it be eligible for a Nature submission? (Currently, panoramas are accepted in Nature.) A motion to “allow two or more images and present it as one image” was made. Motion did not pass and was denied.
- Should definition for Color Creative be changed to be more definitive. Some entries show no visible alterations and are not obvious. One suggestion was to title it “altered reality.” Also, should Color General rules be revised to allow more manipulation? Tabled for further discussion.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00pm.
