· Adobe Photoshop Study Group – Alex Lane checked with Camera Mart and they agreed to the use of their classroom area for the Adobe Photoshop study group to meet. Alex will check with the store to see if February 7th or 21st is available for the first meeting. Alex has a number of CDs to help with training tips and Camera Mart offered to also help get some people to teach tips and tricks.
· Election of Officers – The following officers were nominated and approved for a 2nd term:
o Director-at-Large – Bill Glaspie

· Competition Schedule – Mike Florian delivered a revised competition schedule. Toledo Camera Club will be joining the GDCCC in 2004 and will host a competition. It was voted to approve the revised schedule.
New Business:
· International Salon – Catalogs have been mailed out – Judy Yaker still needs to deliver some files of scanned pictures to complete the update of the web site.
· GDCCC Dues – Raising the amount of dues paid by member clubs has been discussed as well as how to assign the amount owed per club to keep from placing an undue hardship on smaller clubs. Reasons for raising the dues stem from probable equipment purchases coming up as well as the costs associated with possibly offering some educational programs. We have reviewed some possible cost saving measures such as charging one price for people participating in the international salon who require a mailed catalog and a different price for people who can get their catalog on-line. No agreement was reached and the subject will be discussed at a future date next year.
NOTE: Jim Paskiewicz’s wife Geri (Avon Photo Club) was injured in a parking lot accident after a recent club competition at Shutterbug. She is recuperating from a broken shoulder but is still very limited in what she can do.
Next Meeting: Monday January 26, 2003
Meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathy Bolio, GDCCC Secretary
